Former Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Nate Burleson was involved in a single car crash early Tuesday morning after returning from a friend's home where he was watching Monday Night Football.
The accident occurred at 2 o'clock in the morning when the now Detroit Lions player was reaching over to the passenger seat to grab a pizza box that was sliding off the seat.  It caused Burleson to lose control of his vehicle and crash it into a median.

Burleson, currently leading the Lions in receiving, broke his arm in two places and will require surgery.

Authorities on the scene stated that alcohol was not involved and Burleson was not issued a citation.
