Super Bowl LI (that's 51, for all you non-Roman numeral experts out there) takes place on Sunday, February 5, 2017 at 6:30 EST on Fox, when the New England Patriots face off against the Atlanta Falcons. And while some of us (ahem) may be more excited about Lady Gaga's high-flying Pepsi Super Bowl Halftime Show, millions of Americans will be tuning in for the actual "sports" segment of the event. And some of the spectators cheering the two teams on, both from home and perhaps from pricey seats at Houston's NRG Stadium, will be famous.

From Batman star and "Deflategate" apologist Ben Affleck to Atlanta-bred entertainer Usher, both teams have some prominent and sometimes surprising fans (Sir Elton John rides for the Pats?). Scroll through the gallery above to see the most famous celebrity fans of the Falcons and the Patriots.
