Davis, Wapato Boys Bounced Out of State Hoops Tourney, Prosser Advances

As heard earlier this morning on 1460 ESPN Yakima, the Davis Pirates Boys Basketball season ended with a 63-51 loss at the hands of the Richland Bombers at the 4A state tournament in the Tacoma Dome.

Bittersweet news for Yakima Valley cagers in the Boys 2A bracket as the #15 seed Prosser Mustangs pulled an upset win over the seventh-seeded Wapato Wolves, 50-38. The loss eliminated the Wolf Pack from postseason.

With a win against #8 Olympic, Prosser could potentially meet the #4 Selah Vikings should the Viks handle sixth-seeded North Kitsap tomorrow morning.
