Felix Hernandez, after giving up a leadoff home rum to Yoan Moncada, settled down and tossed six innings of seven-hit ball while leading the Mariners to a rubber match road win over the Chicago White Sox this afternoon by a score of 4-3.

Seattle, which had to come from behind, was led by Nelson Cruz's 3-for-5 hitting performance. Catcher Mike Zunino chipped in with a double and his second longball of the season that gave the M's the lead for good in the 6th inning.

James Pazos, Juan Nicasio and Edwin Diaz held Chicago scoreless and hitless over the finall three frames while K-ing a combined six batters. Diaz notched his 10th save of the season in just the team's 23rd game and 13th win on the year.

The Mariners, while three games behind AL West-leading Houston, are just a single game back in the loss column at 13-10. The M's head to Cleveland tomorrow to open a series with the Indians.
