Each year at this time Yakima Kiwanis holds  the Apple Cup Luncheon with lots of rivalry between Huskies and Cougars. The luncheon has been cancelled this year because of COVID-19 but the Pandemi-Cup is being held in its place.

During the lunch people donate money to raise funds for local kids programs and services like helping with Camp Dudley, local schools with books, or even helping with building projects like those at the YMCA. Although the lunch isn't being held this year you can still donate to help kids and still try to beat your rivals through the Pandemi-Cup. The rival this year is through Go Fund Me fundraisers. A fund has been created for Washington fans and one for Washington State fans.
The side that raises the most money for Yakima Kiwanis will get to see the Larson Building lit up in their school colors the week prior to the Apple Cup.
