Castlejam Event at White Pass Saturday

For the past 36 years, White Pass Ski Resort has celebrated the second half of the ski season with the annual Winter Carnival. The carnival always features a large snow castle for kids to climb on and slide off. The Winter Carnival was last weekend, but this Saturday there's another event that also includes the castle -- it's called Castlejam, and it's set for Saturday (March 7) from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Groomers with the ski area have created a series of jumps and jibs and they've installed rails that are set throughout the Winter Carnival Castle.
The event is held near the day lodge and many people enjoy the fun from the deck of the lodge bar on the second floor.
