Canada Beats US in OT, Pulls Within 2-1 in Rivalry Series

Victoria Bach scored 3:22 into overtime to lift Canada over the United States in the third game of the Rivalry Series. Bach's backhander off a 2-on-1 pass from Blayre Turnbull beat goalie Nicole Hensley, who faced a Canadian onslaught in the extra frame. The Canada-U.S. Rivalry Series was at full intensity. Canada's Brigette Lacquette tied it for Canada with just under seven minutes left in the third period with a wrist shot from just inside the blue line during an intense scramble for the puck.
