Carlos Correa and George Springer homered while AL MVP candidate Jose Altuve collected another pair of safeties to propel the Houston Astros to an 8-2 win over the Boston Red Sox 8-2 today at Minute Maid Park while wrangling a two game to none lead in the ALDS.

Starter Dallas Keuchel pitched well, giving up just one run on three knocks while fanning seven.

The Red Sox will try to avoid the series sweep when they return home on Sunday at Fenway Park.
