PULLMAN, Wash. (AP) — Washington State basketball coach Ernie Kent has signed two players to play for the Cougars.

Kent on Wednesday signed Milan Acquaah, a 6-foot-2 guard for Cathedral High School in Pasadena, California. Acquaah is beginning his senior year. Last season he averaged 19 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists per game.

Also signed was Jeff Pollard, a 6-foot-8 forward from Bountiful, Utah. Pollard is starting his first season at Impact Academy in Las Vegas. He led his Bountiful High team to back-to-back state championships the past two seasons.
