Combining the passion of the Apple Cup and fundraising. That's what the Downtown Yakima Rotary Club has come up with. Today the Husky and Cougar mascots were in Yakima to help kick off the "Urule Yakima" campaign. Rotary President David Hargreaves tells KIT News that "it's a fun way to raise money for the Rotary Club, and Cougar and Husky fans all over the world can go online to give a donation." The website is ...http://uruleyakima.com/.  The voting runs now through November 26th, at the end of the voting period which ever school has the most votes will have the honor of having the City of Yakima become "Huskyville" or "Cougarville" for the week of the December the 3rd. the Apple Cup is next Friday, Black Friday in Pullman.
