Yakima Valley won its third straight game Friday as the Pippins handed the Klamath Falls Gems a 6-3 loss at Yakima County Stadium.The Gems scored first on a Connor Capps RBI single in the first inning. In the Pippins half of the first inning, Gems pitcher Michael Silva lost command of his pitches as the Pippins sent 10 hitters to the plate, got seven walks and scored four times.

With the Pippins up 4-1, J.C. Snyder hit an RBI single, scoring two more for the Pippins. In the fifth and sixth innings the Gems scored again, making it a 6-3 game.

Brandon Williams gets his second win and Nick Kern earned his first save.
