Yakima Police ID Two Women Who Were Slain Outside of Downtown Business

Yakima police have identified two women who were shot outside the money tree lending business at south 1st & east walnut streets at 6:15 this morning. Yakima county coroner Jack Hawkins identified the two women as 27-year-old Karina Morales-Rodriguez and 30-year-old Marta Martinez both of Yakima and also both were employees of the Money Tree business. Police spokesmen Mike Bastinelli says, "officers responded to a report of shots fired.". When they arrived, they found 1 body in the parking lot and the other in the street. An investigation continues today
