LAS VEGAS (AP) — Call it a case of beginner's luck. Christian Pham wins one of the World Series of Poker's 68 events and the Las Vegas tournament's coveted gold bracelet. Pham thought he was going to play no-limit Texas Hold 'em, but had mistakenly signed up for deuce-to-seven draw lowball. It's a game he had never played before. The goal is to get the lowest possible poker hand. But Pham's mistake turns out to be a lucky break. Pham outlasted 219 other players to win more than $81,000 and the gold champion's bracelet.
