OAKLAND, Calif. (AP) — The Golden State Warriors are still very much alive in the NBA's Western Conference finals.

Stephen Curry pumped in 31 points and the Warriors pulled within three games to two by downing the visiting Oklahoma City Thunder 120-111. Curry also provided seven rebounds, six assists and five steals for the Warriors, who bounced back after losing the third and fourth games in Oklahoma City by a combined 52 points.

Klay Thompson shot just 8-for-21 from the field, including a 2-for-9 showing from 3-point range. But he managed to finish with 27 points, while Andre Bogut  chipped in 15 and 14 rebounds.

Golden State held the Thunder under 43 percent shooting and limited them to 50 first-half points after Oklahoma City poured in 72 points during each of the previous two games. But the Thunder kept in close and trailed just 103-98 with 4:34 left before Curry converted a 3-point play.

Kevin Durant led all scorers with 40 points, and Russell Westbrook added 31, eight assists and seven boards for the Thunder. Serge Ibaka  was the only other Oklahoma City player with more than 10 points, finishing with 13.

Game 6 is Saturday in Oklahoma City.
