Virginia Tech Athlete Accused of Murder Hailed from Yakima
David Eisenhauer, star track runner from Virgina Tech is being held without bond. He has been charged with the abduction and murder of 13 year-old Nicole Lovell.
Lovell was a liver transplant patient who needed daily medication.
Eisenhauer, a freshman from Howard County Maryland, moved there from Yakima, where he attended Riverside Christian School. In 2015, he was named Howard County boys indoor track Athlete of Year.
Eisenhauer, who is an engineering major has been suspended from the team, while his profile has been deleted from the athletic department's website.
