The University of Washington will hold a public memorial service for former football coach Don James on Sunday.

The school announced a list of plans to honor the former coach on Monday. James passed away at his home Sunday due to pancreatic cancer. He was 80.

Along with the memorial service, the school will honor James during Saturday night's game against California. Washington players and coaches will wear decals in honor of James and members of his family will serve as the honorary captains for the pre-game coin toss.

The Washington band will also perform a tribute to James during halftime that will include a memorial video.

James coached at Washington from 1975-92 and led the school to a share of the 1991 national championship.
