WASHINGTON (AP) — Led by the potent backcourt combo of Damian Lillard and C.J. McCollum, the Portland Trail Blazers rebounded from their worst loss of the season by pulling away to beat an ineffective John Wall and the Washington Wizards 108-98 Monday.

McCollum scored 25 points, including six 3s, and Lillard had 16 as Portland moved on from a 25-point loss to the Philadelphia 76ers in impressive fashion. Meyers Leonard added 18 points off the bench for the Blazers, who have won four of their past five.

The Trail Blazers held Wall to nine points on 4-of-17 shooting. Wall was coming off a 36-point breakout performance against the Boston Celtics.

Garrett Temple scored 18 for the Wizards.
