The Yakima Valley Pippins crushed the Klamath Fall Gems on Saturday night with a 10-0 shutout as Brandon Williams pitched a seven-inning, one-hit game for the visiting Pippins.

And the Pippins' bats came alive and produced the first home runs of the season. Randy Fuller hit the first, then Troy Labrie hit a grand slam. J.C. Snyder launched the next scoring shot in the seventh inning — a two-run homer.

Today — Father's Day — the Pips (3-4) play the Gems (1-6) in an early game. First pitch is at 2:05 p.m. Listen live on 1460 KUTI.
