ENGLEWOOD, Colo. (AP) — Star cornerback Aqib Talib has arrived at the Denver Broncos' headquarters, where team doctors and trainers are evaluating the gunshot wound he suffered over the weekend.

Talib had to miss the Super Bowl champs' visit to the White House on Monday after getting shot in Dallas, where he has an offseason home, early Sunday.

Citing police, WFAA-TV in Dallas reported that Talib said he was too intoxicated to recall details of the shooting and that the bullet entered Talib's right thigh and exited his right calf. Such a trajectory suggests he could have shot himself.

Talib didn't need surgery and the Broncos have said he's expected to make a full recovery, but Wednesday marked the first time they'd seen Talib face-to-face since the shooting.
