Cristian Roldan scored his fifth goal in sixth games as the Seattle Sounders tied the Colorado Rapids 1-1 on Wednesday night. Seattle clinched a top-four seed in the MLS playoffs.

Timbers' Sebastian Blanco's goal in the 29th minute in the second half gave Portland a 2-1 lead in the opening leg of their Western Conf. semifinal against the Sounders.

Raul Ruidiaz scored twice as the Sounders rallied to beat the San Jose Earthquakes 2-1 in the regular-season finale to grab second place in the Western Conference.
