SANTA CLARA, Calif. (AP) — The grass is greener -- at the site of Super Bowl 50. We don't know which teams will be battling for the Lombardi Trophy next month. But the turf at Levi's Stadium in Northern California is nearly ready. The grounds crew has put in long days installing fresh sod. NFL field director Ed Mangan says his staff is working up to 15 hours a day readying the field. Mangan notes one thing the NFL can't control is the weather. But he says they have tarps at the ready in case of heavy rain.
