The defending MLS champion Seattle Sounders have released their 2017 season schedule.

The Sounders begin the campaign on the road for two matches against the Houston Dynamo and Montreal Impact. Both matches will be on Saturdays, March 4th and 11th, respectively before opening their home schedule on the 19th against the New York Red Bulls which will be televised nationally on FS1.

Sounders FC has 11 more matches slated for a national television audience on ESPN and FOX's family of networks, as well as hosting three of its six 2017 Cascadia Cup matches against Portland and Vancouver, with the club set for three nationally-televised fixtures against the Timbers. The May 27 matchup between Seattle and Portland at CenturyLink Field is set to air on FOX, one of four MLS matches broadcast on the free-to-air network in 2017. Sounders FC also faces Western Conference rival LA Galaxy three times on national television, including a Sunday-evening home clash on September 10 broadcast on FS1.
