Sounders Fall, Control Own Playoff Destiny Heading Towards Final, Nationally-Televised Match On Sunday

Nothing has come easy for the Seattle Sounders this season and that trend will continue heading into their final match this Sunday - or, "Decision Day" - when the Rave Green face Real Salt Lake in front of a national tv audience for a shot at the playoffs.
The Sounders (13-14-6, 45 points) dropped their next-to-last contest yesterday, despite a first-half goal from Nico Lodeiro, on the road to FC Dallas, by a count of 2-1.

The Sounders FC are in fifth place and need a win to clinch a spot in the postseason on Sunday. A loss/draw by the Portland Timbers or Sporting Kansas City lose or draw to Vancouver and San Jose, respectively, would also catapult Seattle into the playoffs.

The match will be broadcast live from CenturyLink Field on ESPN television at 1:00 p.m.
