Middle linebacker Bobby Wagner leads the list of Seattle Seahawks who won't see action this weekend in St. Louis.

Coach Pete Carroll told reporters at his Wednesday press conference that Wagner was out with a turf toe injury he suffered against Dallas that will sideline the third-year player indefinitely.

"It looks like it's going to be a while," said Carroll, who added that Wagner wouldn't need surgery. Outside linebacker K.J. Wright will slide into the middle spot.

Also out for the second game in a row is center Max Unger. Unger is nursing a foot injury he sustained against Washington last Monday night. Bellevue native Stephen Schilling will get his second start against the Rams.

Tight end Zach Miller continues his rehab after undergoing ankle surgery during the team's bye week.

Cornerback Byron Maxwell, who strained a calf muscle against the Cowboys is recovering quickly, according to Carroll. The coach said that Maxwell was "day to day", but could see action in St. Louis.
