Adding injury to insult following a disappointing 25-20 loss to the New Orleans Saints, the Seattle Seahawks announced that Defensive Lineman Michael Bennett will miss 2-3 weeks in order to have arthroscopic surgery on his knee.

Bennett suffered the injury two weeks ago against Atlanta on a cut block. Despite playing through the injury, an MRI revealed cartilage damage and the team, according to the Seattle Times Bob Condotta, felt it was best to get it repaired now as opposed to letting it heal on its own.

The Seahawks return home a week from tonight to play the Buffalo Bills on ESPN's "Monday Night Football".
