The question is: Will the Seahawks fall victim to the infamous "SI Curse"?

Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson is featured on a regional cover of the latest edition of Sports Illustrated. The magazine takes a look at four of the NFL's young quarterbacks and compares them to a Super Bowl winning QB. Wilson is compared to Drew Brees of the New Orleans Saints.

What about the infamous "Sports Illustrated Curse"?

According to Wikipedia:

The Sports Illustrated cover jinx is an urban legend that states that individuals or teams who appear on the cover of the Sports Illustrated magazine will subsequently be jinxed (experience bad luck). This is an example of confirmation bias.

Wilson is the second Seahawk to be featured recently on Sports Illustrated's cover. Cornerback Richard Sherman was featured in July. Will it bring the Seahawks bad luck or even disaster in 2013? Time will tell.
