The former Seattle offensive lineman was named as a top 25 semifinalist in his first year of eligibility for the class of 2014.

Jones was a first round draft pick of the Seahawks in 1996, and spent his entire 13-year career at left tackle. Considered one of football's best all-time offensive linemen, Jones was named to nine Pro Bowl rosters and was named all-pro seven times.

The Seahawks retired his number 71 jersey in 2010.

If Jones is selected for the class of 2014, he will join wide receiver Steve Largent and defensive lineman Cortez Kennedy as players who spent their entire careers with Seattle as members of the Hall of Fame.
