Seahawks’ Wagner Named NFC Defensive Player of the Month

It's the first such honor for the third-year middle linebacker from Utah State.

Wagner, who was also named to the Pro Bowl earlier this month, led Seattle's No. 1- ranked defense with 36 tackles in the season's final four games. He totaled 104 tackles for the year despite missing five games in the middle of the season with a foot injury.

Wagner joins Chad Brown (1998) as the only other Seahawks' linebacker to win the award.
