Seahawks Still Odds-On Favorites to Win NFC Title, Super Bowl

The Las Vegas sports book Bovada released its updated odds after the NFL divisional playoff games Sunday, and it looks good for the Seattle Seahawks.

The Hawks are not only favored to win the NFC championship and return to the Super Bowl, they remain favorites to repeat their world championship, according to numbers released Monday.

The Seahawks opened as 7.5-point favorites to beat the Green Bay Packers in Sunday’s NFC championship game, according to Vegas online sports book Bovada. Seattle had 4-to-13 odds of advancing to the Big Game for the second year in a row, while Green Bay’s odds were 5-to-2.

Bovada gave the Hawks 5-to-4 odds at bringing home their second consecutive NFL championship. And Seattle is most likely to do it against the New England Patriots, who had 9-to-5 odds of winning this year’s Big Game.

Bovada also released their early Super Bowl point spreads on Monday. The Seahawks were 2.5-point favorites to beat the Patriots or 6.5-point favorites to defeat the Indianapolis Colts on Feb. 1 in Glendale, Ariz.
