With the trade to bring wide receiver-kick returner Percy Harvin to Seattle, rumor around the NFL is that the Seahawks could be looking to move All-Pro kick returner Leon Washington.

Jason LaCanfora of CBS Sports is reporting that with the acquisition of Harvin, the Seahawks may be making a move with Leon Washington. Harvin is one of the most explosive kick returners in the league, and that could make Washington trade bait.

Danny O'Neil reported in Tuesday's Seattle Times:

So the report from Jason LaCanfora of CBS Sports that the Seahawks are soliciting offers for Washington isn’t a shock. But that doesn’t mean his departure is a certainty, either.

Seattle could be checking what a Pro Bowl returner — which Washington was in 2012 — would fetch in a trade. He’s scheduled to make $1.5 million in base salary in 2013, according to the players association database. His deal also includes a $1 million roster bonus.
