The news broke Thursday on the NFL Network's Inside Training Camp Live: Marshawn Lynch will hold out and miss training camp.

Lynch's former teammate, Michael Robinson, appeared on the show and reported the Seahawks' No. 1 running back's decision on Thursday.

"Marshawn Lynch just called me, we just talked," Robinson said. "He said he will be holding out from training camp this year with the Seahawks."

Lynch did report to the team's mandatory mini-camp, but did not take part in drills. It's said that he's looking for a raise after a great 2013 season. Seattle recently signed Earl Thomas, Richard Sherman and Doug Baldwin to new deals.

Lynch signed a four-year, $30 million deal with the Seahawks in 2012. He's scheduled to earn $5.5 million in 2014.
