Halfway through the pre season, the Seahawks incumbent starting quarterback has yet to see a snap. Will Tavaris Jackson stay with the Seahawks this season?

The Seattle Seahawks are 2-0 in the 2012 pre season. Free agent quarterback acquisition Matt Flynn has started both games, with rookie Russell seeing second half action. Tavaris Jackson has been nowhere to be seen. Flynn has been competent, while Wilson has been playing far better than a rookie can be expected to. Jackson has been on the sidelines. Coach Pete Carroll said  a couple of weeks ago that the team knew what Jackson could do, and wanted to see the new quarterbacks in action.

What does this mean for T-Jack? NFL insiders say that the Seahawks will trade Jackson, keeping him injury free in the pre season and seeing if another team needs a quarterback due to an injury.

One insider predicts that the Seahawks will name Flynn the starter before the team plays the Chiefs in Kansas City on Friday, with Wilson the back up and 2nd year man Josh Portis as #3.
