Well...  That didn't last long, did it?

No sooner had the ink dried on the latest entry into the Guinness Book of World Records for "loudest crowd roar at a sports stadium" when *poof* it was broken.

Fans of the Seattle Seahawks, through the fan based organization Volume 12 (headed by former Seahawks player Joe Tafoya), set the bar last September 15th during a nationally televised game against the San Francisco 49'ers with an ear-splitting reading of 136.6 decibels.

Last Sunday, however, the crowd at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, Missouri broke the short-lived record by reaching 137.5.

Now, according to a tweet by Tafoya, the folks at Guinness have O.K.'d another attempt by the throng at Century Link Field.

The tentative target is set for the Hawks Monday Night match up against the New Orleans Saints.  If history is an indicator, the 12th Man will not only break the record, they will, quite literally, cause an earthquake.
