Playing in a torrential downpour much of the game, Mother Nature got in her jab to the Seattle Mariners nose after the Colorado Rockies had already bloodied it by completing a three-game sweep with a 4-3 victory at Coors Field today.

NL All-Star selection Trevor Story launched a walk-off home run off of reliever Nick Vincent to give the Rockies their only lead of the game and send the M's in to the All-Star break with a four-game losing streak.

Seattle stumbles in to the mid-summer classic having lost 8 out of their last 11. That streak came directly on the heels of Seattle's longest winning streak of the year of 8 games.

The Mariners will have a four-day break before returning to action at Safeco Field to face the Chicago White Sox and another interleague match-up against the San Francisco Giants. The Mariners still maintain the fourth-best overall record in MLB, 19 games over .500, at 58-39.

The Mariners will be represented in Washington, D.C. at the 89th All-Star game by relief pitcher Edwin Diaz, shortstop Jean Segura, DH Nelson Cruz and outfielder Mitch Haniger.

Both the Home Run Derby - to be held Monday night - as well as the game itself, can both be heard live right here on 1460 ESPN Yakima.
