(AP) — Regional play wraps up today at six sites around the U.S. to narrow the field of teams and players who will make the national championships in NCAA men's golf.

Oregon is in good position to advance to the national tournament -- currently sitting at second in regional play at Marana, Arizona. The Ducks through the first two days of play have a total score of 573. Stanford leads the regional standings, with UAB just one shot behind Oregon in third.

Washington is currently in 6th place after two days of play at the regional in Franklin, Tennessee, but is just one shot back of Vanderbilt and Kennesaw State, who are tied for fourth. The top five schools in each regional advance.

The championship tournament is slated for May 27 to June 1 at Eugene Country Club with Oregon the host school.
