ST. LOUIS (AP) — No pro football coach would discourage their team from displaying on-the-field fireworks during a game — in the form of spectacular plays on offense and hard hits on defense. But St. Louis Rams coach Jeff Fisher says he's leery about the pyrotechnic displays used during player introductions. This past Sunday, the start of the Rams' home game against Pittsburgh was delayed about a half-hour because fireworks set off a small fire on the field. Fisher says he has no control over what the team does to spark interest in the game with the player intros. But he jokingly suggests that he's thinking about entering the field at the Edward Jones Dome from the opposite tunnel — where there are no sparks from fireworks.
