Playing (And Winning) Fantasy Football Is My Latest Fantasy: So Tonight The L.A. Rams Better Bring It
Today is Monday, Sept. 12, and tonight how much you wanna bet millions of people who normally don't watch football games will be watching the San Francisco 49ers take on the Los Angeles Rams (for more reasons than one)?
Some will be interested in the game because they are true fans of the teams, some will be watching to see who sits, kneels or raises solidarity fists during the national anthem, but a lot of people will be just like me -- only watching the game because we want to win in our fantasy football spread! Huwah!
It's been a couple of years since I've participated in fantasy football, but I'm back! My first F.F. experience was an all-ladies team and I came in SECOND PLACE! I was so proud! I had no idea who I was selecting to be on my Yahoo F.F. team, but I remember I chose Colin Kaepernick, Aaron Rodgers and one of the Manning brothers for the win.
This year, I am in a heated office competition on our Pro Football Pick 'Em online contest and an ESPN Pigskin Pickem team in one of the Facebook groups I'm tight with. I am going to win something either way because whatever team I picked for my Facebook group team, I chose the opposite team for my office game picks. As of last Thursday night, I was in the lead at the office (I chose the Broncos for the win), but as of last night, I am now in dead last! Booooooo!
Come on RAMS; y'all better bring it tonight! Mama needs a win!
