The Yakima Valley Pippins have come up with a unique way to broadcast three games.  Three games this summer at Yakima County Stadium will originate from unique locations around Yakima County stadium instead of the press box.

The first of these unique broadcasts will occur this Saturday, as Pippins Play-by-Play Broadcaster Ryan Rouillard will broadcast the entirety of the game against the Kitsap BlueJackets from the area outside of the Dugout Bar, located along the first base line. The locations for the other two broadcasts will be determined at a later time, but the dates have been set for July 19 and August 2.

“We’re always looking to push the envelope and try new things,” said Pippins General Manager Danny Tetzlaff. “This is an excellent opportunity for us to give fans a behind-the-scenes look at what Ryan Rouillard does on a nightly basis.”

The broadcasts, just like every other Pippins game, will air live on ESPN 1460 KUTI and online through the station’s website, 1460ESPNYakima.com.
