The Yakima Valley Pippins have announced that their June 27th rained-out game in Port Angeles has been rescheduled as part of a double-header in Yakima this Sunday, July 14.

Both games will be seven innings, with the first pitch of game 1 at 4:35 p.m. Sunday. The second game will start about 30 minutes after the first game.

Port Angeles will be the designated home team in the first game, but will use the first-base dugout. The Pippins will be the home team in the second game.

The standings on the WCL website have been corrected, based on the end dates for the first half for all teams. The Pippins are 1-2 currently in the second half, and resume league play against Port Angeles on Friday. The make-up game will count in the second-half standings, not the first half.
