In their first road game, the Yakima Valley Pippins scored early against the Corvallis Knights and rallied for a 5-3 win.An error helped Jake Roberts score the first of five runs as the Pippins took advantage of the Knights bullpen. Taylor Snyder hit an RBI double to give the Pippins a little bit of breathing room.

Pippins pitcher Reed Garrett, meantime, had another quality start after getting in the groove following the fourth inning. Garrett now has a 2-0 record and Eli Morgan picked up his first save.

Yakima Valley had five runs on five hits and one error, while Corvallis had three runs, six hits and two errors.
