The Klamath Falls Gems scored three-runs in the bottom of the eighth inning for a come from behind 10-9 win over the Yakima Valley Pippins. The loss at Kiger Stadium at K-Falls dropped the Pippins league record to 3-5.

Defense was the issue again for the Pippins. They committed six errors in Sunday’s contest, leading to eight unearned runs.

Yakima Valley, though unable to win consecutive games for the first time this season, still has a chance at its first series win Monday night at 6:35 p.m. in the rubber match of the three-game series.
