Pippins Fall in Corvallis

A tough loss for the Yakima Valley Pippins in Corvallis, Oregon last night. The Knights used a 3-run 8th inning for 5-4 come from behind win at Goss Stadium in the Willamette Valley..

Yakima Valley’s Andrew Woods did not allow a hit until the fourth inning. He pitched seven innings and came away with a no decision.

The loss dropped the Pippins record to 3-4.  Yakima Valley wraps up a three game series in Corvallis tonight, then travel to Klamath Falls for a three-game series against the Gems in Southern Oregon.
