PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) — Holland Woods had 15 points and 11 assists and Jamie Orme also scored 15, including 12 after halftime, to help Portland State beat Eastern Washington 78-65 Thursday night to snap a three-game skid.

Woods scored 13 second-half points and Orme, who came in shooting 19 percent (6 of 32) from 3-point range, hit three 3s in a two-plus minute stretch to give the Vikings the lead for good. Sal Nuhu finished with 13 points, Robert McCoy added 11 and Michael Nuga scored 10 for Portland State (7-11, 2-5 Big Sky Conference).

Woods hit a jumper before Orme's trio of treys gave PSU a 58-51 lead with seven minutes to go and it was at least a two-possession game the rest of the way.

Jacob Davison scored a career-high 26 points, Mason Peatling added 15 on 7-of-10 shooting and Tyler Kidd had 11 points and six assists for Eastern Washington (5-13, 3-4).

The Vikings had 22 assists and shot a season-high 60.4 percent (29 of 58) overall, including 17 of 25 (68 percent) in the second half.
