Obama, Biden to Skip Rio Games

(AP) — President Barack Obama and Vice President Joe Biden have no plans to attend the Olympics.

The White House says U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry will lead the American delegation to the games. He'll be the highest-level U.S. official attending.

The U.S. contingent will also include nine-time gold medal-winning swimmer Mark Spitz.
