When baseball fans hear the word "slugger", the name Mitch Haniger probably isn't one of the first that comes to mind. The Mariners outfielder, however, is attempting to join some rarefied air this afternoon when the M's play the White Sox in Chicago.

Haniger is attempting to hit a home run in his fifth-consecutive game today which would put him withing striking distance of one of the most difficult feats to accomplish at the big league level. Only 28 players in history have homered in six-straight, including Mariners Hall of Famer Ken Griffey who holds the record with dingers in eight in a row.
