The Seattle Mariners finished the quarter mark of the baseball season with an even five hundred record. The 20-20 Mariners are in Minneapolis to start a three-game series with the Twins.  Chris Young is on the mound for the Mariners tonight, Roenis Elias pitches on Saturday and Felix Hernandez will be on the mound Sunday. After the weekend series the Mariners head to Texas for two games next Tuesday and Wednesday before heading home for a long 11 game home stand.

The Mariners enter the second quarter of the season in third place, four and a half  games behind the first-place Oakland A's,  two games behind second-place Los Angeles and one-half game ahead of fourth-place Texas.
