The Seattle Mariners introduced their newest member, Japanese pitching star Yusei Kikuchi, to the media at a press conference today.

The 27 year-old lefty signed a $56 million contract with the club on Wednesday.
Kikuchi, flanked by Mariners field and General Managers Scott Servais and Jerry DiPoto along with his agent Scott Boras, flashed jersey number 18 which was previously worn by fellow countryman Hisashi Iwakuma.

Unlike Ichiro Suzuki who preceded him in Seattle, Kikuchi attempted to answer as many questions from the media on hand in English.
