Erasmo Ramirez was knocked around for five runs and six hits in two innings today as the Mariners lost again to the Texas Rangers. It was the third loss in the four game series with the Rangers.  After falling behind 4-0 the Mariners scored six-runs in the third inning to take a 6-4 lead.   The lead was short-lived as the Rangers scored two in the bottom of the third.  The Rangers added two more runs in the fifth and held on to win.  With the loss the Mariners fell below 500 for the first time this year.  Robinson Cano hit his first home-run as a Mariner in the 6-run in the third inning. Corey Hart followed Cano's homer with his fourth home-run of the year.

The (7-8) Mariners travel to Miami to take on the Marlins this weekend.
