RENTON, Wash. (AP) — Marshawn Lynch has yet to rejoin the Seattle Seahawks after undergoing abdominal surgery in late November and will not play in the regular-season finale against Arizona.

Coach Pete Carroll said Wednesday that Lynch is still "day-to-day," after saying earlier in the week that Lynch could potentially be back for the regular-season finale. Carroll said the team hopes that Lynch will be able to rejoin the team next week and be available for the wild card round of the playoffs. Carroll said there is still some discomfort for Lynch in the rehab training.

Lynch has not played since Week 10 against Arizona and underwent abdominal surgery on Nov. 25. He has spent most of his recovery in the Bay Area working out with his personal trainers.
