SEATTLE (AP) — Jewell Loyd scored 13 points and Seattle ended a five-game losing streak with a 68-61 victory over the Los Angeles Sparks on Wednesday.

Crystal Langhorne added 12 points and Ramu Tokashiki had 10 for Seattle (4-12).

Three of the Storm's four victories have come against the Sparks (2-11), who are winless in seven road games. Los Angeles didn't have its two current leading scorers — Nneka Ogwumike and Kristi Toliver — in the first two losses. The Sparks hit 11 of their first 15 shots to open up a 31-19 lead, but they were done in by too many turnovers. Los Angeles had 25 miscues that led to 26 points for the Storm.

Marianna Tolo scored five straight for the Sparks to cut their deficit to 64-59 in the fourth, but Sue Bird hit a jumper and added two free throws in the final 1:31 to seal the win.

Ogwumike finished with 12 points, Temeka Johnson 11 and Toliver 10 for L.A.
